Ex-Deutsche Bank trader with a big new job is out after a year
Vikram Dadlani spent a long time at Deutsche Bank. He has spent less time at Mizuho.
Dadlani, who was once Deutsche Bank's head of European investment grade trading, left Deutsche Bank after 15 years in December 2024. He joined Mizuho in September 2025

Dadlani had a bigger job at Mizuho. There, he was head of all EMEA credit trading.
Now he has left again. The reason for his exit is unclear. Dadlani didn't respond to a request to comment for this article. Mizuho declined to comment. Maybe he is having a rest before something else.
Mizuho's credit trading team has been through some big changes. Asif Godall, the former head of global markets in EMEA departed in May after what he described as "seven wonderful years" to "explore new opportunities and challenges" which he has yet to detail upon LinkedIn. Co-heads of credit trading Hardeep Bariana and Aristo Vounakis left in March. At least four other credit traders left too.
Maybe Mizuho needs some new ones? It's not clear who will replace Dadlani. It's thought he was hired by Godall to replace Bariana and Vounakis. Maybe they could both come back?
Alternatively, it's suggested that the credit business might now report to Steven Johnston, Mizuho's head of rates.
