Goldman Sachs' 2026 internships are open. People are freaking out

It’s that time of year again. Banks’ summer internships are opening, and one of the most competitive of all opened today: those at Goldman Sachs.

Goldman’s website, however, seems to be glitching. A number of people in student groupchats have noted that the “apply” button is greyed out when clicking through to a specific internship (we found this to be the case for the “classical investment banking” internship, among others). This can be remedied by opening the page in a new tab, however.

If you’re interested in a 2026 internship, it’s time to start applying. Although applications will likely close later in the year (November or December), interviews have been known to start before deadlines have come and gone – which means that banks look at internship applications as they’re coming in.

That might be especially important for Goldman, which has one of the toughest internships to crack in the world. Its acceptance rate is just 0.7%, and it also requires a specially formatted cover letter that’s more of a personal statement. Good luck.
