Job Description
Job Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and acquire new trade finance clients and opportunities.
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed trade finance revenue targets.
* Advise corporate and commercial clients on a comprehensive range of trade finance products, including Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Export/Import Financing, Supply Chain Financing, and Structured Trade Finance solutions.
* Conduct thorough financial analysis and risk assessments of client trade activities to propose appropriate and tailored solutions.
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Credit, Operations, Legal, and Product Development teams, to ensure seamless execution and delivery of trade finance services.
* Prepare and present compelling trade finance proposals and solutions to prospective and existing clients.
* Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the trade finance sector to identify new business opportunities and risks.
* Maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their evolving needs and providing ongoing support and advisory services.
* Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and relevant external regulations.
* Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade finance sales, advisory, or relationship management within a banking or financial institution.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing trade finance portfolios.
* In-depth knowledge of various trade finance products, instruments, and international trade practices (e.g., UCP 600, ISBP, URDG).
* Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs, and payment methods.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
