The Role
Requirements Management: Perform business analysis, elicit user requirements, and prepare Business/User Requirement Documents (BRD/URD) for Employee Benefits (EB) projects, aligning with strategic operational goals across group policy administration, corporate client onboarding, and claims management.
Services & App Design: Participate in solution design workshops for corporate self-service portals, employee mobile apps (e.g., e-claims, digital medical cards, panel clinic locators), and core administration systems to ensure digital capabilities support complex group scheme structures, flexible benefit options, and claim rules.
Risk Management & Compliance: Identify operational dependencies, data privacy requirements (including medical data regulations), and project risks throughout system migrations, API integrations with medical networks, and core system upgrades.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Formulate end-to-end UAT strategies, test matrices, and scenarios. Validate system and mobile app performance across complex EB scenarios, such as group member enrollment/termination, claim adjudications, panel doctor e-settlements, and benefit limit tracking.
Change Management & Training: Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs), digital user guides, and deliver targeted training to hotline customer service officers, group claims teams, corporate HR administrators, and internal ops support.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Drive end-to-end implementation schedules by liaising between business units, IT developers, third-party App/system vendors, and medical provider networks.
Your Profile
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' business analysis experience specifically within the Employee Benefits (EB) / Group Medical & Life insurance sector.
Solid understanding of the end-to-end group insurance lifecycle (including employer onboarding, member enrollment/maintenance, billing, panel/non-panel claim processing, and hotline support workflows).
Direct experience in customer-facing digital portals, HR administration portals, or mobile service apps (e.g., e-claims submission, digital medical cards) is highly preferred.
Methodology: Strong practical knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery frameworks.
Skills: Excellent data mapping, process flow documentation, and analytical skills to translate intricate group benefit schedules, flex-plan rules, and medical claim workflows into clear functional specifications.
