A well-known publicly listed company is looking for a high-caliber Head of Finance based in Greater Bay Area to manage the local operations.

The Role

• Lead all finance and accounting activities, including monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial controls, and risk management.
• Provide insightful financial and commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making, identify business opportunities, and address performance gaps.
• Partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to monitor business performance, develop action plans, and drive sustainable growth initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements, cost optimization initiatives, and operational efficiencies across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal governance policies.
• Oversee external audit processes and maintain effective relationships with professional advisors and regulatory stakeholders.
• Support corporate governance activities, including board reporting, meeting coordination, and maintenance of appropriate corporate records.
• Manage banking relationships, treasury activities, and key external stakeholder engagements.
• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
• Participate in strategic projects and other business initiatives as required by senior management.

Your Profile

• Degree in Business, Accounting or related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is a must
• 15+ total years related finance accounting experience gained in shipping/logistics/freight forwarding/supply chain sectors
• Prior china-stationing work experience would be an added advantage
• Detail-oriented, organized, and thrives under deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Able to lead and mentor junior
• Fluent in English and Mandarin/Cantonese
• Accommodation and Company Car would be provided
