Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Risk, you will be responsible for monitoring and assessing market risk exposures across ETF portfolios and related investment products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitor market risk metrics, including VaR, stress testing, sensitivity analysis and exposure limits
- Perform daily risk reporting and investigate significant market movements impacting portfolios
- Partner closely with Portfolio Managers, Trading and Investment teams on risk-related matters
- Conduct scenario analysis and ad hoc risk assessments for new products and investment strategies
- Review model assumptions and contribute to risk framework enhancements
- Support regulatory reporting and internal governance requirements relating to market risk
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline
- 3-5 years of market risk experience gained within asset management, ETF providers, investment banks or financial institutions
- Solid understanding of ETFs, index products, equities, fixed income and derivatives
- Hands-on experience with risk measurement methodologies including VaR and stress testing
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Proficiency in Excel and risk management systems
- FRM or CFA qualification would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills in English; Chinese language skills are a plus
