- Data preparation for group reporting & source system testing
- Support the control and governance of the reporting and operational process
THE JOB:

1. Delivery of New Business (NB) Contractual Service Margin (CSM)

- Solely responsible for the operation of producing NB CSM for both actual and forecast periods, such as performing Prophet runs and refreshing relevant working files.

- Perform deep analysis to understand key drivers of NB CSM movements on a month-over-month basis, comparison versus prior year/plan.

- Prepare email communicating NB CSM results to senior management, including highlights and commentary on the drivers.

- Perform reconciliation between actual NB CSM results versus prior year/plan for performance monitoring.

- Participate in initiatives/projects to relating to NB CSM e.g., new products UAT

2. IFRS 17 Non-NB CSM Data Preparation

- Prepare data inputs required for IFRS 17 quarterly production including but not limited to Yield Curve (YC), IBNR and WOP Reserve

- Check and reconcile between model outputs and system values to ensure internal consistency and reasonableness

- Involved in IFRS 17 Best Estimate Assumptions

3. Guidance to other junior members

- Provide operational guidance to other junior members in the team

- Involved in the development process of the team including knowledge sharing sessions, department meeting

4. Other projects assigned by line manager.

THE PERSON:

- B.A Degree in Finance/Economics/Actuarial Science

- 1-3 years actuarial reporting / valuation experience (prior experience in IFRS 17 is a plus)

- Problem solving skill

- Communicating skills

- Logical thinking

- Teamwork spirit

- Can-do attitude

- Strong knowledge of data and system is an advantage

- Power Query, Python, VBA, and Actuarial Software (e.g., Prophet, Axis, etc.)

- Insurance accounting is an advantage
