Description and Requirements

Summary of Responsibilities:

This role is to support the Head of Pricing Actuary to ensure that actuarial reports and modeling processes are in line with sound actuarial principles and standards, statutory requirements and meet department's goals and objectives

Responsibilities :

• Support the responsibilities of Head of Pricing Actuary to drive actuarial projects and provide modeling support for the Actuarial Pricing Section
• Support product design, product development.
• Support Head of Pricing Actuary on new product's pricing and profitability testing.
• Support to maintain Life insurance core system and future maintenance.
• Support sales illustration and future maintenance.
• Reinsurance quotations and treaties, reinsurance admin, reinsurance report on monthly basis and quarterly basis.
• Support other departments on PAV, Surrender Value, Premium calculation.
• Reconcile PAV in a quarterly basis.
• Utilize approved AI tools to support actuarial pricing, product development, experience analysis and reporting activities, while validating outputs and ensuring compliance with company governance and data privacy requirements

Requirements :

Education:

• A reputable university degree in a subject with significant exposure to actuarial, finance, mathematics and/or statistics. Passing 1 or 2 actuarial exams is a plus.

Skills & Competences:

• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Good analytical skill.
• Knowledge of Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
• Good IT skills: data manipulation, database query and management.

Knowledge of basic actuarial techniques, terminology and mathematics is a plus
