A leading alternative credit investment manager is seeking an Associate to join its growing Direct Lending team in New York. The team focuses on providing senior secured financing solutions to middle market companies across a broad range of industries and offers significant exposure to the full investment lifecycle.

• Evaluate and underwrite new direct lending opportunities
• Build detailed financial models and perform credit analysis
• Conduct company, industry, and market due diligence
• Assist in structuring and executing transactions
• Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to senior investment professionals
• Monitor portfolio company performance and identify key risks and opportunities
• Participate in management meetings, lender calls, and transaction discussions

• 3-5+ years of experience in private credit, leveraged finance, investment banking, restructuring, or a related investing role
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and credit underwriting skills
• Experience analyzing middle market businesses and debt capital structures
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities
• Demonstrated interest in private credit investing and direct lending
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
