A leading middle-market investment banking platform is seeking an Associate 2 to join its Infrastructure, Power & Renewables advisory team. The group advises a broad range of clients on strategic and financial transactions across digital infrastructure, power and renewables, transportation infrastructure, and utility-related sectors. This is an opportunity to join an active, growing team with strong deal flow and significant exposure to some of the most dynamic sectors within the infrastructure landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, capital raises, and strategic advisory assignments
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials
- Prepare client presentations, pitch books, marketing materials, and investment memos
- Conduct industry, company, and market research across infrastructure and energy-related sectors
- Participate in client meetings, management presentations, and transaction negotiations
- Coordinate due diligence processes and interact regularly with clients, investors, legal advisors, and other transaction participants
- Support senior bankers in business development efforts and new client engagements
- Mentor and oversee Analysts on transaction execution and day-to-day project management
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of prior investment banking experience, preferably within the infrastructure, energy, or power spaces.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
- Experience executing M&A, capital markets, or advisory transactions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated interest in infrastructure, energy, power, renewables, or real assets sectors
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
