What We Do

In this role the Financial Shared Services Manager will join a team of four shared services leaders focused on maintaining critical business functions. This leader drives the strategy for Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Finance 360 departments to drive efficiency of operations, navigate changing business requirements, and support continuous growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee the Corporate Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Finance 360 departments, directing four supervisors and 60 staff members, including 25 based in India.
2. Lead the continuous advancement of the new Billing Teams operating model and proactive service delivery approaches that align resources with business needs and strategic objectives.
3. Drive the recruitment and development strategy for the Finance 360 program, which is designed to transition intern, new graduates and early-career professionals into experienced specialists who support operational needs in accounting and finance.
4. Lead continuous improvement, process redesign, automation, and AI-enabled enhancements to increase efficiency, scalability, quality, and business outcomes. This includes implementing appropriate governance, change management, monitoring, and operational controls for automated and AI-enabled processes.
5. Serve as the functional owner for assigned enterprise transformation initiatives including implementation of new ERP that impact billing, accounts receivable, and Finance 360 processes.
6. Develop staffing strategies, hiring plans, and career advancement paths that promote a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement. Prepare team members for evolving service delivery models, focusing on process engineering and advisory responsibilities.
7. Develop and oversee department goals, operational performance metrics, and progress reporting to support business outcomes.
8. Prepare and present operational performance reports, trend analyses, recommendations, and strategic updates to finance and business executive leadership.
9. Build relationships with global practice and regional office leaders and key personnel to meet business needs and identify opportunities to enhance service.
10. Lead and participate in assigned accounting and finance department initiatives.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant accounting experience (eleven (11) years strongly preferred); additional credit may be given for public accounting experience
• Position requires the ability to influence, lead, and manage change thoughtfully and positively. Must possess strong project management skills and a strategic perspective.
• Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
• Must demonstrate ability to balance and prioritize multiple day-to-day and ongoing projects simultaneously.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• CPA preferred but not required. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
