The Cost Accountant will be responsible for cost of sales, inventory costing, perpetual inventory valuation, project tracking, and variance analysis.

Cost Accountant Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze daily work orders, partnering with operations to resolve discrepancies and improve accuracy
• Maintain accurate product costing, including inventory valuation and general ledger alignment
• Perform variance analysis (including PPV) and provide insights into cost drivers and performance
• Lead monthly close activities related to cost accounting, including journal entries and P&L support
• Oversee standard cost updates, project cost tracking, and reporting to support leadership decision-making

Cost Accountant Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience
