Role Overview:
This role will join Reply's growing Project Controls team to oversee schedule performance across a portfolio of 150+ small capital projects, ensuring clear visibility of programme status, risks and milestones. Working closely with project managers, suppliers and commercial teams, the role focuses on building, maintaining and analysing Primavera-based schedules, challenging assumptions and driving corrective actions where needed. The position offers the opportunity to apply strong planning expertise while exploring how data and AI can enhance project controls and reporting. The role is based in Tamworth, with an expectation of four days per week in the office.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and update construction schedules in Oracle Primavera Cloud (or P6) for a large portfolio of small capital projects.
- Work with project managers and supply chain partners to create realistic, logically linked and resource-loaded baseline programmes.
- Monitor progress against baselines, analyse variances and perform regular DCMA 14-point schedule health checks to identify and resolve logic and quality issues.
- Report programme status and progress against AMP/regulatory commitments, ensuring milestones and outputs are clearly traceable for submissions.
- Identify schedule risks, critical path changes and slippage, escalating issues promptly and constructively challenging contractor and supplier programmes where required.
- Produce clear progress reports, dashboards and programme summaries for project, programme and senior management, aligning schedule data with cost and earned value reporting.
About the Candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a planner/scheduler, ideally within construction, infrastructure or utilities.
- Strong proficiency with Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) or Primavera P6, including development of logically linked, resource-loaded schedules.
- Practical understanding of DCMA 14-point schedule assessment and ability to act on its findings to improve programme quality.
- Proven track record supporting multiple concurrent small-to-medium projects, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Confident, direct communicator able to constructively challenge suppliers and contractors and translate complex schedules into clear reporting.
- Experience in regulated utilities (e.g. water sector, Ofwat, AMP cycles) and familiarity with earned value management and cost/schedule integration are desirable.
- Working towards or holding a relevant professional qualification (e.g. APM, CaSa or equivalent) is an advantage.
