Chair, Building Safety Regulator
The Building Safety Regulator (BSR), an arm's-length body of the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, is responsible for improving building safety in England, particularly for higher-risk residential buildings. At the forefront of post-Grenfell reform, BSR Is driving regulatory change across the sector and supports the government's housing agenda.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to lead the regulator as it continues its improvement journey. You will bring strong board-level leadership, strategic insight and a proven ability to drive improvement across complex environments. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of building safety, strengthen public confidence, and ensure the regulator remains focused on its core mission of protecting residents and raising standards across the built environment.
