Fletcher George is recruiting a Private Client Tax Senior for a growing Private Client Tax team within a modern and forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Guildford, Surrey.



This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Personal Tax Senior or Private Client Tax Senior looking to develop their career working with a high-quality portfolio of High Net Worth Individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners, trusts, estates and UK and international private clients.



You will gain exposure to interesting and increasingly complex Private Client Tax work, including Self Assessment and international tax matters, whilst working closely with experienced Partners and senior members of the Tax team.

The Role



As a Private Client Tax Senior, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns for High Net Worth Individuals and private clients


• Preparing tax returns for trusts, estates and Directors of Owner Managed Businesses


• Working with both UK resident and internationally based private clients


• Supporting clients with a range of Personal Tax and Private Client Tax matters


• Developing direct relationships with clients and responding to day-to-day tax queries


• Liaising with HMRC on tax compliance and regulatory matters


• Working closely with Partners and senior Tax professionals on more complex assignments


• Developing your technical knowledge across HNW, international and Private Client Tax

About You



You are likely to have:

• Experience in Personal Tax or Private Client Tax gained within a UK accountancy practice or specialist tax firm


• ATT qualification, or be studying towards or considering the CTA qualification


• Alternatively, you may be ACA or ACCA qualified and have chosen to specialise in Tax


• Experience preparing Self Assessment tax returns for private clients


• An interest in developing your knowledge of HNW and international tax matters


• Strong communication skills and confidence liaising directly with clients
