With a culture built on trust, continuity, and client care, now looking to welcome a new Legal Assistant to their friendly and busy Private Client team in Fareham.




About the Role:



You'll play a key part in the daily operations of our Private Client department, supporting solicitors and fee earners in delivering high-quality service across a broad spectrum of matters including wills, probate, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney.




What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing administrative and secretarial support to legal staff


• Audio typing and document production from digital dictation


• Managing client onboarding and compliance processes


• Opening and closing client files and maintaining accurate records


• Diary and appointment management


• Handling telephone calls and liaising with clients and third parties


• Assisting with general office duties as part of the wider team

What Were Looking For:

• Experience in a legal support role within Private Client


• Excellent communication skills and a professional manner


• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organised under pressure


• Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)


• A client-focused approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team


• A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude
