Role Overview
The AI Data Scientist will work within a team to create end-to-end machine learning pipelines, including data preparation, feature engineering, model training, and deployment. Reporting to senior technical leadership, success will be measured by the deployment of reliable, scalable AI models that address complex business challenges using innovative AI techniques.
Key Skills & Experience
- Design and build AI-powered data products using machine learning and LLMs
- Develop, train, fine-tune, evaluate, and deploy AI/ML models with proprietary and external datasets
- Build end-to-end machine learning pipelines covering data preparation to monitoring
- Apply generative AI and LLM techniques in business use cases such as text summarization, classification, and semantic search
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate challenges into AI solutions
- Evaluate, integrate, and optimise third-party AI tools and open-source models
- Develop robust data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
- Define model metrics, conduct experiments, and continuously improve performance
- Support AI model deployment ensuring scalability, reliability, and responsible AI practices
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science or related discipline specialising in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
- Proven publication record in AI or machine learning conferences
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Data Scientist or similar role in AI/ML
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and predictive modelling techniques
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated curiosity and passion for continuous learning
- High ethical standards and professional integrity
This is a 2-week assignment starting on 02/08/2026, with an on-site working environment in Asia.
