In this Risk Governance individual contributor role, the candidate would responsible for leading participation and debate with the GIS Divisional leads, Process/Control owners, Subject Matter Experts, and Operational Risk/Compliance partners to understand the overall information security risk portfolio. Responsibilities include leading participation and materials creation in preparation for the GIS Risk Committee meeting, board reporting, and other risk reporting. In addition, this candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of the Process Risk Control (PRC) inventory and the creation of the GIS Risk and Controls Self-Assessment (RCSA). The candidate will represent the team and/or organization in select internal and external forums and working groups and is expected to establish, develop, and manage key partnerships.

Required Skills

  • Cyber security or information security domain knowledge
  • 5+ year of risk management experience (Operational Risk, Compliance) with proven ability to effectively apply risk principles to challenging business situations
  • Ability to work in a highly visible and fast-paced environment, where business needs/priorities may change and path forward is not always black/white
  • Self-starter, organized, versatile, and capable of performing work with minimal management oversight
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities
  • Operates with a sense of urgency and has a strong attention to detail
  • Exhibit strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Influence horizontally and vertically across the organization and diverse audiences with varying degrees of technical understanding

Desired Skills
  • Bachelors and/or Masters degree
  • Detailed, bank specific risk management and governance experience
  • Experience working on Executive-level reporting
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners
  • Assist with internal efficiencies projects and development
CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM certification or similar
