Our client is looking for a Project Manager with a Management Consultancy background to join their Secure Government division, helping public sector clients get the most out of digital transformation. Working Patterns and location - Fully on site




Key responsibilities



• Lead and manage defined work packages and small-to-medium projects end to end.



• Ensure delivery meets agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality expectations.



• Work directly with client stakeholders to shape and improve delivery approaches.



• Identify, manage and mitigate risks and dependencies across delivery activities.



• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve project outcomes on time.



• Analyse project performance data and produce clear, insightful reporting.



• Support continuous improvement and guide team activity across workstreams.



• Build client confidence and represent the consultancy's transformation practice.




Skills & experience



• Proven experience delivering projects or work packages in Agile or structured environments.



• Strong leadership of diverse technical specialists across complex supply chains.



• Ability to manage scope, schedule, budget and quality to meet client expectations.



• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.



• Confidence analysing project data and presenting findings clearly to senior audiences.



• Strong facilitation skills across workshops, meetings and delivery sessions.



• Ability to anticipate risks, manage dependencies and implement mitigations.



• Commercial awareness of project financials, contracts and supply chain considerations.




The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:



• Experience working within a management consultancy or professional services environment.



• Background supporting digital transformation programmes in secure government or public sector.



• APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management qualification.



• Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum or Kanban.
