Aon is currently recruiting a Broker, Reinsurance Facultative to join our Casualty & Specialty team in London.

About the Role:

• Working with colleagues and clients on a variety of casualty facultative reinsurance from Japanese cedants.


• This will include general liability, product recall, pharmaceutical liability, financial lines and other specialty business


• Work on all aspects of risk placement, supporting the team on programme design, client guidance and market engagement


• Work on and provide support in developing and delivering market broking and strategy


• Identifying appropriate channels for risk placement based on clients' market security guidelines and other requirements, exerting influence on the market in order to secure the best deals


• Negotiating terms and conditions of placement with the London and international markets


• Develop new product knowledge and capabilities. Identify and develop new revenue generation opportunities and market capabilities


• Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests, or reputation of any Group Company.

About you:

• Proven technical competence of client needs and the Reinsurance Market


• Have experience in broking direct or facultative reinsurance business


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Have strong industry networking skills and knowledge


• Have excellent sales and marketing skills


• Have a keen interest in understanding diverse product lines


• Proven data analysis abilities
