Duties and Responsibilities - "Your Role"

You will be a key member of the IHS Markit Financial Risk Analytics Sales team in EMEA. Reporting into the Head of Financial Risk Analytics, you will drive new business sales in EMEA.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Sales Executive with Financial Risk product and services sales track record
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly new business goals and driving new customer leads through cold calling and coordinated campaign outreach
  • Need to carry a personal annual quota of approx. $2m
  • Providing timely and accurate insight to your pipeline leading to accurate forecasts
  • Representing and promoting the company and business line to senior executives both internally and externally
  • Developing a strong understanding of the value proposition for our offerings as it relates to your end market
  • Needs to be part of the FRA management team


Job Requirements - "About You"

You are a results-driven, new business-oriented sales professional to actively seek out and engage procurement and sourcing prospects in EMEA across the major industries.

Key Qualifications and Skills:
  • Extensive sales experience
  • Sell side and/or Buyside experience essential in EMEA region
  • Fintech Sales experience an advantage, especially subscription/cloud solutions experience
  • Sales Team Management experience an advantage
  • Salesforce experience desired
  • Advanced MS Office/presentation skill
  • Multi-lingual desired especially Swiss, Nordics, German languages
  • Bachelor's degree minimum
  • Proven excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build effective internal and external relationships
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% in order to conduct face to face meetings or attend industry conferences
