Their mission is to deliver outstanding investment returns for clients through an actively managed approach. When they serve their clients well, they create broader value for society as a whole. Role Overview

As a Client Director you'll be responsible for promoting our products and solutions to a defined group of clients, whether they are institutional or wholesale.

While you'll be part of a sales team, you'll likely have full accountability for sales to your defined group of clients. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for generating sales to existing and new clients in the Swedish market (and Norway to a lesser extent), which is a major market for the firms overall European strategy.

One of the key responsibilities of this role is to prioritize the interests of our customers and treat them fairly. This includes ensuring that any information provided to clients about our products and services is clear and useful, enabling them to fully understand what is being offered. By doing so, you'll play a crucial role in building trust and maintaining strong relationships with our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build growth in assets under management, win new intermediary clients and generate gross asset flows consistent with or in excess of targeted levels.
  2. Develop and implement new strategies and approaches to sales for clients in the Swedish market in line with the full suite of product offering.
  3. Develop new and innovative ways to promote the firms brand in the region using digital tools, social media, platforms, marketing campaigns, industry related events…
  4. Explore the use of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve the sales process and provide a more personalized experience for clients.
  5. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of demand and the competitor set in the Nordic markets and work to access and convert the new business opportunity set.
  6. Establish networks both externally and internally within the firm
  7. Work effectively as part of a team with colleagues in the Nordic area, specifically the sales, client service and administrative teams based in Copenhagen and Helsinki.
  8. Collaborate with other business areas within the firm including distribution (institutional and wholesale as well as the Global Financial Institutions Group, Consultant Coverage and Client Directors), Marketing and Communications and Product

General skills :

  1. Previous experience in sales, ideally with investment management experience.
  2. A well-established network of contacts in the Swedish market and Nordic region.
  3. In-depth knowledge of the market in the Nordic region, including the operational and regulatory framework, as well as a track record of success in generating gross assets flows from intermediary clients in the region.
  4. The ability to work within a prescribed framework while also contributing to the improvement and documentation of day-to-day procedures.
  5. Effective workload planning skills to manage changing priorities and external events.
  6. The ability to make routine judgments in situations that are well precedented and uncontentious, and to seek assistance for complex or unusual situations.
  7. Demonstrated appreciation for the value of internal networking in building momentum and deepening product knowledge.
  8. A strategic mindset with a focus on the longevity, profitability, and growth of the business.
  9. Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to operate effectively in a demanding, high-performance environment
  10. Market intelligence skills
  11. A degree from a university or business school.
  12. Fluent (written and oral) in Swedish and English.

Technical Skills:

  1. Experience in data analytics tools
  2. Appetite in Technology
  3. Strong level of experience in Sales or Relationship Management or any other relevant area

Personal Attributes:

  1. Strong ethical values and integrity
  2. Creative, dynamic, and hard-working individual who is driven to succeed
  3. A team player at heart, able to work collaboratively with other team members and inspire and motivate them to achieve their goals
  4. Passionate
  5. Clients come first.
