Global USA payments focused market leader, with a strong network across the world are seeking to strengthen the African based sales team further with an additional Pre Sales person. The client offers a wide range of payment solutions from PaaS, Hub, switch and card. For this particular role deep knowledge within switch technologies and card is essential.

You will already be based in South Africa with knowledge of the local banks. Also hiring similar for Dubai.Either with a Fintech vendor, SI partner or with a major bank in a technical role with senior level interaction and ideally be client facing.

As this role will be working as a trusted advisor to the banking sector, would have a track record on supporting major decision makers on adopting and implementing switch and card technologies across a bank. Those selling payment solutions into the bank as a consultant or pre sales will be favoured as influencing business and technical contacts key skills required.

You will be able to work closely with the sales team, travelling extensively in South Africa possibly within the GCC region. Researching client requirements, presenting the best solution. Meeting various levels of stake holders up to C level engagements. Also coordinate and pull internal resources for bids and presentations. Be at ease in presenting to a reasonable group that could vary from business users to technical experts.

Absorb ongoing training as constant upgrade of products and new releases. Keep up to date with market intelligence and offer clients the best business value against competitors.

Remain calm under pressure by exercising assertiveness with the sales team on what is a realistic deliverable solution case by case. Visiting clients alone, especially to technical peers also required.

Must be a team player, working closely with colleagues on various technologies and supporting sales teams in influencing client’s business objectives and adding growing company revenue.
