We are seeking an experienced VDI Architect to spearhead the modernization and migration of our global Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). In this role, you will design, orchestrate, and execute the transition of legacy on-premises user environments into a highly secure, resilient, and scalable hybrid cloud ecosystem. You will serve as the premier technical authority and trusted advisor to senior leadership, transforming complex technical roadmaps into business-aligned realities. This position requires deep expertise in modern digital workspace platforms, specifically Omnissa Horizon (formerly VMware Horizon) and Omnissa Workspace ONE, alongside exceptional executive presence to navigate a highly regulated environment,

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver end-to-end cloud, hybrid cloud, and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions, including high-level and detailed technical architectures.
• Architect and optimize modern digital workspace platforms, endpoint management, and secure remote access solutions.
• Establish and maintain secure cloud foundations, networking, and connectivity across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Drive infrastructure automation initiatives through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), standardization, and operational best practices.
• Assess existing environments, applications, and user requirements to develop migration and transformation strategies.
• •Plan and execute large-scale migration programs, ensuring minimal business disruption, high availability, and seamless user adoption.
• •Develop profile management, user data, and workspace experience strategies to support performance, resilience, and scalability.
• Engage with business and technology stakeholders to communicate architectural decisions, risks, roadmaps, and transformation outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership and advisory support to senior management and executive stakeholders.
• Collaborate with governance, risk, and compliance teams to ensure solutions align with regulatory, security, and organizational requirements.
• Design and implement security controls based on Zero Trust principles, identity management, and privileged access best practices.
• Support audit, compliance, and risk management activities by providing technical expertise and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Omnissa/VMware: Omnissa Horizon Professional/Advanced Integration or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) / Design Expert (VCDX)
• Cloud: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert AND/OR AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
