TRANSACTION BANKING IS A SPECIALIZED BANKING FUNCTION THAT PROVIDES DELIVER COMPREHENSIVE SOLUTIONS, INCLUDING CASH MANAGEMENT, PAYMENTS, COLLECTIONS, TRADE FINANCE, AND LIQUIDITY MANAGEMENT TO SUPPORT THE DAILY FINANCIAL OPERATIONS OF CORPORATE CLIENTS. MIZUHO BANK LTD.'S GLOBAL TRANSACTION BANKING DEPARTMENT (GTBD) HAS AN EXTENSIVE INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE, INCLUDING THE APAC REGION AND BRANCHES IN BOTH HANOI AND HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM.

THIS ROLE IS BASED IN HANOI, VIETNAM AND REPORTS TO HEAD OF GTBD VIETNAM, GTBD APAC AND VIETNAM BRANCH MANAGEMENT ON THE PROGRESS OF THE STRATEGIC INITIATIVES.

Job Overview
As VP/Director, Transaction Banking Sales, you will lead and drive the growth of cash management and trade finance solutions across our Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City branches. This senior role offers the opportunity to shape strategy, collaborate regionally, and deliver innovative solutions to top-tier clients.

• Drive Transaction Banking Sales for both cash management and Trade Finance.
• Develop and execute the Transaction Banking Sales strategy for the Hanoi Branch and leading the Relationship Managers team to achieve strategic objectives.
• Lead the growth of Transaction Banking business for both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City branches, ensuring the attainment of all Transaction Banking KPIs, including profit targets and corporate objectives.
• Support Transaction Banking Sales initiatives for Relationship Managers by preparing high-impact presentation materials, structuring innovative solutions, engaging directly with clients, and delivering comprehensive training.
• Drive the enhancement of Transaction Banking capabilities of the Hanoi Branch by proposing new products and coordinating implementation with relevant Branch Divisions such as IT and Operations.
• Collaborate closely with GTBD offices across the region to capture cross-border Transaction Banking business opportunities and facilitate the implementation of regional and global products within the Hanoi Branch.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics, or any related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in Transaction Banking Sales, with a strong background in Trade Finance required. Experience at foreign banks is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in Trade Finance operations and cash management is strongly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
• In-depth knowledge of Transaction Banking products, including Cash Management and Trade Finance, with the ability to structure and advise on comprehensive solutions for clients.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Vietnamese.
• Demonstrate a dynamic, collaborative, and innovative approach. Highly motivated, results-oriented, responsible, and able to work effectively under pressure.
