Job Description
The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.
We are looking for a passionate and commercially driven Relationship Manager to join our Medium Enterprise Banking team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with business owners and decision-makers, helping them navigate opportunities, unlock growth, and achieve their financial goals.
In this role, you will build and grow a portfolio of SME clients, deepen existing relationships, and partner with product specialists to deliver a broad range of banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire and grow a portfolio of SME clients through proactive business development and relationship management.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with business owners and key decision-makers by understanding their business strategies, challenges, and growth plans.
- Identify opportunities to provide tailored banking solutions across lending, cash management, trade finance, treasury and wealth products.
- Partner closely with product specialists, credit teams and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end client solutions.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify growth opportunities and ensure clients' banking needs continue to be met.
- Stay informed of market developments, industry trends and regulatory changes to provide insightful advice to clients.
- Maintain strong credit and risk discipline while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal policies.
- Prepare and present financing proposals and strategic recommendations to support clients' business objectives.
- Degree in Business, Banking & Finance, Accountancy or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in relationship management, business development and credit assessment within commercial or SME banking.
- Strong track record in acquiring, managing and growing SME client relationships.
- Sound understanding of corporate banking products, credit fundamentals and financial analysis.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen and the ability to achieve business targets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage business owners and senior decision-makers effectively.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced and client-focused environment.
