Our client is a fast-growing regulated payments fintech with a regional and international footprint. The business provides payment infrastructure to SMEs and growing businesses, supporting online, in-store, domestic and cross-border payment flows. As the business continues to scale across multiple licensed markets, they are looking to strengthen their compliance function with a strong regulatory and financial crime advisory professional.
Job Description
- Interpret payment services, AML/CFT and financial crime regulations, with a strong focus on regulatory requirements and other relevant international regulatory regimes.
- Maintain and enhance AML/CFT policies, compliance frameworks, procedures and control documentation to ensure they remain current, practical and inspection-ready.
- Conduct regulatory gap analyses, horizon scanning and impact assessments when regulations, products, partners or operating models change.
- Advise KYC operations, financial crime and business stakeholders on CDD/EDD standards, periodic reviews, record keeping, STR/SAR handling, new product flows and control expectations.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in regulatory compliance, financial crime compliance or risk advisory within a regulated payment services firm.
- Strong working knowledge of payment services regulkations, AML/CFT and financial crime regulatory requirements.
- Experience writing, reviewing or enhancing AML/CFT policies, compliance frameworks, regulatory gap assessments or operational guidance.
- Good understanding of AML operations, including CDD/EDD, transaction monitoring, STR/SAR processes, record keeping, remediation and control implementation.
