Bain Capability Network's Private Equity Group (BCN PEG) is the expert client delivery arm delivering on specialist workstreams across the private equity value chain, enabling our clients to make key investment decisions. Our expertise lies in addressing critical diligence questions involving a range of research instruments spanning from quantitative research/ surveys and outside-in diagnostics.
Our teams work in a fast-paced environment delivering consistent and impactful results at scale. We operate across all three regions (APAC, EMEA and Americas) from our 3 office locations - India, Poland and Mexico. We work across industries, including Technology, Consumer Products & Retail, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Financial Services and Advanced Manufacturing & Services.
We provide an opportunity to solve challenging business problems in a dynamic set-up working closely with global Bain teams, acting as a thought-partner with daily deliverables.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
End-to-End Surveys
- Design end-to-end quantitative research programs, including research design, sampling plans, and survey instruments across B2B and B2C contexts
- Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on research approach, vendor selection, and project scoping, providing clear cost and methodology recommendations
- Lead full-cycle project delivery, spanning case team briefing, fieldwork monitoring, vendor relationship management, and final reporting
- Conduct rigorous survey data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights using tools such as Excel, SPSS, and other analytical platforms
- Develop high-quality presentations, dashboards, and written deliverables that synthesize findings across workstreams and directly address client hypotheses
- Track and apply emerging trends, tools, and technologies in quantitative primary research to continuously sharpen the team's methodological capabilities
Case delivery: Qualitative research
- Conduct primary research interviews and calls with senior stakeholders (e.g., CXOs, functional leaders, industry experts) and synthesize the insights
- Manage set-up and delivery of AI-led/ enabled interviews and synthesis of insights
Beyond case delivery
- Manage and develop a team of 3+ Associates/Analysts, providing day-to-day guidance to deliver high-quality case work with limited oversight from the Team Manager
- Own end-to-end workstream delivery by shaping hypotheses, defining deliverables, structuring analyses, and setting clear priorities and timelines
- Ensure high-quality, zero-defect outputs by reviewing team deliverables, providing actionable feedback, and maintaining rigorous quality control standards
- Proactively identify and resolve project challenges, removing roadblocks and escalating issues when needed
- Apply and guide the use of appropriate analytical tools to generate robust, insight-driven outputs
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging tools in quantitative primary research, bringing new ideas into case work
- Collaborate with case teams and practice leadership to support ongoing work, contribute to capability development (CD), and help build new products and intellectual property
- Foster knowledge sharing across teams and contribute to building best practices and reusable tools
- Build strong, trust-based relationships within the team, acting as a role model for Bain's culture and values
- Provide regular, constructive feedback and coaching to team members, and contribute to performance reviews and evaluation processes
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in any field with a strong academic record; advanced degree or coursework in research methods, statistics, or a related discipline is a plus
- 5+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, business analytics, primary/survey research, or a global multinational environment
- Deep expertise in end-to-end quantitative primary research spanning survey design, sampling methodology, vendor management, fieldwork oversight, and data quality control, with a consistent track record of surfacing actionable insights across CP&R, technology, healthcare, or similar sectors
- Hands-on experience with qualitative research methods including expert and stakeholder interviews, AI-led interview tools, and focus groups; skilled at distilling complex conversations into structured, insight-driven outputs
- Excellent written and spoken English (C1/C2 level); additional languages are an asset in a global research environment
