Job Description

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to act as the key link between our customers and our mill, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine. In this role, you will manage existing wire rod customers-primarily in Poland and the Czech Republic-while actively developing new business opportunities. You will play a critical role in pricing, market analysis, and the development of high added-value (HAV) products.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnership.
• Business Development: Identify and acquire new customers to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
• Price Negotiation: Lead commercial negotiations to achieve competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
• Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
• Account Growth: Increase supply share within existing accounts through cross-selling and improved service levels.
• Product Development (HAV): Collaborate with technical and production teams to develop and promote high added-value products.
• Customer-Mill Coordination: Ensure smooth communication and alignment between customers and production teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in economics, Engineering, or a related field
  (or equivalent experience in the steel industry)
• Proven experience in the steel industry, ideally in wire rod or related products
• Strong understanding of:
  • Market dynamics and competitors
  • Supply chain and production processes
  • Automotive sector (preferred)
• Fluency in Polish and English (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel 30-50% within the Poland cluster
• Valid driver's license
