About the Team & Business Line:

You will work with the Corporate Clients and Financial Institutions (CC&FI) team of Citco Corporate Services division to provide critical support that helps our clients meet the increasing regulatory and compliance requirements that shape the industry.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• You will be responsible for a portfolio of client companies.
  
  These responsibilities include:
• Ownership of bookkeeping and all other accounting matters.
• Preparation of Dutch GAAP statutory financial statements.
• Monthly and/or quarterly reporting.
• Assisting auditors in case of audits performed on financial statements of client companies.
• Coordinating fiscal matters in cooperation with external tax advisors.
• Review of tax returns, including: corporate income tax, VAT, WHT, transfer pricing documentation, CbCR notifications, etc.
• Transaction monitoring (regulatory, AML).
• Timely and accurate submissions of DNB reporting (CFI Benchmark, MESRAP) and other regulatory filings.
• Stakeholder management: communication with clients, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
• Involvement with other aspects of client work such as payments and other corporate matters.
• Acting as a technical reference point for junior accountants and reviewing selected deliverables prior to delivery to clients.
• You are expected to proactively suggest improvements to existing procedures, standards and quality controls to keep improving our level of services.

Qualifications

About You:

Education and experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or business economics.
• 5+ years' relevant experience.
• Exposure to tax driven structures is an advantage.
• Fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.

Accounting

• Experience with preparation of financial statements based on Dutch GAAP or IFRS.
• Experience with a financial statements report generator application such as Workiva is an advantage.
• Knowledge of consolidation requirements, exemptions and specific accounting policies related to holding companies in the Netherlands.
• Strong financial/accounting and analytical skills and the ability to deliver high quality service.

Regulatory

• Knowledge of Wtt and Wwft compliance regulation is an advantage.

Soft Skills

• A commercial, dynamic attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Able to work in a team and autonomously. Recognize when assistance is needed.
• Able to set priorities, be flexible and highly accurate.
• Able to manage multiple tasks while adhering to strict deadlines and producing high quality work.
