Our client a well established manufacturing organisation operating within the FMCG Sector in North Dublin are looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join them o a 4 days week or 5 shorter days.

Summary of the Role

The purpose of this role is to provide analysis and insight to the management team and managers throughout the business and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in a long-established and well known FMCG company. The role encompasses all aspects of the organisation's activities from Manufacture through to Sales and offers the right individual an opportunity to grow their experience and exposure in a wide range of activities.

This is a part-time permanent role on site, 25- 30 hours per week Onsite.

Responsibilities

• Review of Monthly Management Accounts (Full P&L and Balance Sheet) including:
  • Manage and assist in production of monthly accounts
  • Monthly Profit & Loss variance analysis
  • Full review and analysis of variances/anomalies
  • Financial Forecast

• Preparation & Review of weekly KPI reports including:
  • Review of daily and weekly manufacturing yields and analysis of same
  • Review of weekly labour costs calculation and analysis of same
  • Calculation of weekly sales values
  • Estimated weekly profitability
  • Preparation of annual budget (incl. liaison with all other departments within the organisation)
  • Maintain and update product costing data and customer profitability analysis
  • Liaison with external auditors to ensure completion of annual audit
  • Analysis and Review of all major cost centres and reporting on same
  • Maintenance and implementation of robust financial controls
  • As this is a role covering all aspects of the business, any ad hoc reports as required

Competency Requirements

• Excellent Attention to detail
• Strong Organisational ability
• Good Communication Skills (Fluency in English essential)
• Strong Technical Accounting Skills

Skills & Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with at least 3 years PQE in a FMCG or Manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical skills and ability to produce reports and communicate insights in a clear and concise manner
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and good working knowledge of other MS Office applications
• Experience with MS Dynamics an advantage

This is a lovely role 25-30 hours a week based in North Dublin
