Position Summary

The Senior Test Manager, Disability UAT is responsible for leading the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) function for Disability products and platforms, ensuring high-quality, business-aligned solutions are delivered across Agile teams. This role partners closely with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Delivery Teams, and Release Management to define and execute comprehensive UAT strategies that support successful product releases and business outcomes.

The individual will lead, mentor, and develop a team of UAT professionals, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation. The role is expected to drive modern testing practices by identifying and implementing opportunities for AI-enabled testing, test automation, and process optimization to improve efficiency, coverage, and speed to market. The Senior Test Manager will champion quality engineering best practices, leverage data-driven insights, and influence strategic testing initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead Disability UAT planning, execution, governance, and release readiness across Agile delivery teams.

• Write and edit, automated test code, that allows for repeatable, reliable testing solutions to test the wide functionality of products and software. Writes manual test where automation is not supported.

• Participates in Software Architectural Design at the ART level.

• Generate and implement improvements for automated testing framework, tools and dashboards

• Leads the planning and documenting complex test strategies and acceptance criteria based on customer needs

• Leads and monitors complex test execution (new builds and regression), test suite grooming, analyze the reports, troubleshooting & investigating the failures. Performs peer reviews of automation codebase.

• Investigate, diagnose and repair complex problems, test bugs, and create and managing bug reports.

• Understanding the business processes at the ART level to lead the innovation and improvement of the testing process to gain efficiencies.

• Mentor and develop UAT analysts and testing leads to building a high-performing quality organization.

• Drive adoption of AI in testing, automation, and innovative testing solutions to improve productivity and quality outcomes.

• Establish metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement practices to measure testing effectiveness.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education

• Graduates or Post Graduates preferably B.TECH

Experience

• Minimum 10-12+ years of relevant experience of multiple application implementations and project governance

Technical Skills

• Applicable Development Language (Java/ Python)

• Writing & executing automated tests Code testing, evaluation and peer review

• Integration and Testing tools (e.g. Docker, Selenium Grid, Playwright, TOSCA, Github Actions, Lettuce, Cucumber)

• Strong experience leading UAT/Test Management teams in Agile environments.

• Database Development tools

• Technical Troubleshooting

• Expertise in Disability insurance or benefits administration platforms preferred.

• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and mentoring capabilities.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and SharePoint for project documentation, reporting, and collaboration.

• Ability to work independently, take ownership, adapt to change, and drive continuous improvement across migration delivery processes.
