Function :Accounting and Reporting Consulting (ARC)

Location:Gurugram, Mumbai, Bangalore

Role & Responsibilities

Uniqus is seekingprofessionals for our ARC team. As a member of the team, youwill work with clients to provide high-quality accountingadvisory services, focusing on the application of accountingstandards, assisting clients with financial reporting, anddealing with complex accounting issues. You will be responsiblefor assisting the Manager / Associate Director with projectexecution and management.

Responsibilities:

• Technicalaccounting advice to clients on complex accounting issues, andconduct research on accounting topics and prepare technical memos.
• Assist with theimplementation of new accounting standards.
• Assist withfinancial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements.
• Support theManager / Associate Director to manage client relationshipsand act as a point of contact for clients.
• Participate inbusiness development activities and contribute to proposal development.
• Stay up to dateon developments in accounting standards and regulations.
• Ability tomanage multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Ability to workeffectively in a team.
• Identifyengagement and client service issues. Research and benchmarkclient data to industry data.

Requirements

We'relooking for accounting professionals who are passionate aboutproviding accounting and financial reporting support to clients.The incumbent will work for top global clients across a widevariety of markets and industry sectors.

• Demonstrate a soundunderstanding of accounting concepts; stay informed ofprofessional standards; and effectively apply this knowledgeto moderately difficult and/or complex client situations.
• Flexibility andwillingness to travel on short notice, as necessary.
• Possess strong domain knowledge.
• Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills.
• Strong written andverbal communication skills.
• Ability to work wellin teams.
• Ability to work underpressure - stringent deadlines and tough client conditionswhich may demand extended working hours.

Qualification

• Qualified CAs
• CPAs/ACCAs withexperience of working in technical accounting/financial reporting.
• 0-2Years of relevant experience
