We're looking for a Technical Engineer to:

1. Translate business and technology requirements for new functionality, venues, and upgrades
2. into technical changes within the low-latency trading stack.
3. Coordinate and manage technical changes with internal and external teams, including vendors,
4. stock exchanges, carriers, and clients.
5. Work with aligned network and infrastructure teams to help make key decisions on the design of
6. the network architecture based on application requirements.
7. Partner with the production services team to provide third-level, platinum support for our
8. clients.
9. Build relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues across all APAC regions.
10. Cooperate with global teams to develop and socialize best practices and standards.
11. Build strong relationships with various regional and global technology and business stakeholders.

Preferred experience:

1. Strong Python and Unix skills (especially Linux), including shell scripting.
2. Strong FIX messaging experience within an electronic trading environment.
3. Familiarity with key areas of trading technology, including FPGA, low-latency networks low-latency application development, and exchange protocols such as OUCH, Arrowhead, HKEX CCCG, and OCG.
4. Expertise in equities trading platforms and the trading lifecycle, including low-latency trading and co-location setups.
5. Experience working with systems across front, middle, and back office.
6. Experience working with stock exchanges and managing trading and market data infrastructure.
7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with business sponsors, clients, and third parties.
8. Ideally 5+ years of experience in a similar electronic trading role within the financial services
9. sector.
