Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the systematic trading platform, working in partnership with developers, researchers, and technology teams.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of market microstructure, financial products, regulations, and the trading platform to support business expansion (e.g., entering new regions, venues, or products, defining technology requirements, and deploying new strategies).
- Contribute to the design and ongoing enhancement of a world-class trading platform.
- Monitor market trends and strategy performance metrics to identify actionable insights.
- Navigate macroeconomic event risks by developing and implementing trading playbooks.
- Take ownership of risk management protocols and maintain authority over trading activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Finance, Economics, or Business from a leading institution.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic decision-making skills, with the ability to maintain a broad perspective and make informed, defensible decisions in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Previous experience in electronic trading.
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive self-starter with a strong drive to learn, adapt, and deliver results through change.
- Desirable skills: familiarity with Linux and proficiency in Python.
