About the job:

As a Senior Consultant, Banking Technology, you will acquire first-hand consulting experience in the banking industry, build knowledge on a wide range of companies, and apply business analysis and project management best practices in a fast-paced and intellectually challenging work environment. You will play a key role in building trusted client relationships through high quality deliverables and leveraging our industry expertise. Our consultants are our greatest asset, and we show this by providing a comprehensive training and mentoring program to equip you to become a skilled consultant.

Responsibilities:

1. Business Analysis on the needs and issues of the client through interviews and workshop
2. Process and design technical and business requirements
3. Parameterise software/systems, including business modules
4. Document the project into systems and processes for management review
5. Close interaction with clients through regular project updates and networking

More experienced candidates will have these additional responsibilities:

1. Independently lead workstreams, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of project outcomes
2. Manage and mentor junior consultants by assigning structured work packages and providing guidance
3. Facilitate complex workshops and translate client requirements into actionable solutions
4. Participate in business development activities including topic development, proposal preparation, sales presentations, and contract negotiation

Job requirements

About you:

1. Bachelor in Business, Computing, Engineering or Science
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience of technical Business Analysis / project delivery / experience as a technical Business Analyst within Banking, consulting or Fintech industry
3. Expert experience in Excel and data analysis including modelling and lookups
4. Knowledge of Client Reporting processes is a plus
5. Solid understanding of banking systems, processes, or products (e.g., wealth management, payments, core banking)
6. Experience in system implementation, data analysis, or integration projects
7. Knowledge of SQL, Java, or similar technologies is an advantage
8. Capable of applying technology principles to business
9. Highly analytical and structured in problem solving; able to quickly understand complex situations
10. Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
11. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
12. Ability to facilitate workshops and present solutions to senior stakeholders
13. Excellent spoken and written English

AI Requirement

1. Understands Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI), including their practical applications in business and technology environments, with the ability to leverage AI-enabled tools and technologies to drive innovation, productivity, and business outcomes.
2. Demonstrates the ability to effectively incorporate AI-enabled tools into consulting engagements, project management, business analysis, solution design, technology delivery, and business development activities to enhance delivery quality, efficiency, and client value.
3. Embraces emerging technologies, demonstrates an AI-first mindset, and proactively identifies opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve ways of working, accelerate innovation, and create measurable business impact for clients and the firm.
