Private Equity analyst/ associate - Korean Speaking

A global private equity platform is seeking a Korean speaking Analyst/ Associate to join its Asia investment team, based in Hong Kong. This role focuses on executing and managing private equity investments across north Asia.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support execution of private equity transactions, including secondary acquisitions and structured deals across Asia
2. Conduct financial modelling, valuation analysis, and due diligence on potential investments
3. Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentation materials for internal committees
4. Monitor portfolio company performance and support ongoing value creation initiatives
5. Work closely with senior investment professionals on deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio management
6. Engage with external stakeholders including GPs, advisors, and counterparties
7. Contribute to market research, industry analysis, and investment pipeline development
8. Assist in transaction structuring, negotiation, and documentation processes

Requirement

1. Bachelor in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline
2. 2–5 years of relevant experience within private equity or buy-side investing
3. Prior experience in financial modelling, valuation, and transaction execution
4. Strong understanding of private equity, fund structures, and secondary markets is advantageous
5. Fluency in Korean and English is required, knowledge in other Asian languages are desired
6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
