We are helping a Chinese Asset Management company to expanding their business, now there are 2 hcs for fund operation, 1 for Asso level, 1 for VP level, JD as below:

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the end-to-end investment trade lifecycle, including trade capture, affirmation, matching, settlement, reconciliation, and exception management across multiple asset classes.

* Support daily Fund Operations and ensure timely and accurate settlement of executed trades.

* Monitor and manage daily cash positions, liquidity, financing activities, collateral movements, and payment processing.

* Coordinate foreign exchange settlements and funding requirements where applicable.

* Investigate and resolve trade breaks, failed settlements, cash discrepancies, and operational exceptions.

* Process corporate actions and ensure timely and accurate booking of investment events.

* Review and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations prepared by external fund administrators.

* Perform cash, portfolio, position, transaction, and NAV reconciliations between internal systems, custodians, prime brokers, and fund administrators.

* Review portfolio valuations, corporate actions, expenses, accruals, management fees, performance fees, and accounting records to ensure completeness and accuracy.

* Ensure timely delivery of fund accounting data in accordance with accounting standards, fund documents, and internal policies.

* Monitor daily fund risk metrics and perform operational control checks.

* Support operational activities for private investment funds throughout the fund lifecycle.

* Coordinate capital calls, distributions, commitment tracking, investor allocations, and cash movements.

* Coordinate investor onboarding, KYC/AML documentation, subscription agreements, and closing documentation.

* Handle subscription, redemption, transfer agency, and investor servicing activities.

* Coordinate account opening and maintenance for trading accounts, custody accounts, bank accounts, and brokerage relationships.

* Ensure all operational activities comply with internal policies, fund governing documents, accounting standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

* Maintain daily operational risk metrics and perform regular control reviews.

* Investigate operational incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.

* Work closely with Portfolio Managers, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Investor Relations.

* Liaise with external parties including fund administrators, custodians, prime brokers, auditors, banks, legal advisers, valuation agents, and other service providers.

* Support annual audits for Cayman Funds, Hong Kong LPFs and other investment vehicles.

* Participate in new fund launches, new product implementation, fund restructuring, and fund wind-down projects.

* Support system implementation, workflow automation, process optimization, and operational transformation initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant disciplines.

Associate: Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in Fund Operations, fund operations, middle office, fund accounting, fund administration.

Vice President: Typically 5–10+ years of relevant experience with demonstrated project management, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.

Experience gained from asset management firms, fund administrators, or other alternative investment managers will be highly preferred.

Strong understanding of the complete investment trade lifecycle, including trade settlements, reconciliations, cash management, corporate actions, and operational controls.

Strong knowledge of private fund operations, including capital calls, distributions, commitment management, investor onboarding, fund closings, cash waterfall processes, and fund lifecycle management.

Good understanding of hedge fund operations and public market Fund Operations.

Good understanding of SFC regulatory requirements and operational governance within an asset management environment.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and portfolio systems or equivalent platforms would be advantageous.

Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, CAIA, or equivalent will be an advantage.

Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
