Job Description
- Oversee end-to-end management of IT infrastructure, including design, configuration, deployment, operations, and ongoing maintenance.
- Monitor system performance and organizational needs; diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to network systems, hardware, and operating environments.
- Develop and implement backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and information security controls to safeguard business data.
- Review existing data management frameworks and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency, scalability, and performance.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 27001 standards, policies, and procedures within Infrastructure and Operations.
- Deliver helpdesk support and user training to ensure effective use of IT systems across the organization.
- Liaise and negotiate with vendors and service providers for infrastructure-related solutions, services, and support.
- Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure design, deployment, and operations.
- Solid knowledge of networking technologies including WAN/LAN, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, as well as storage systems such as SAN and NAS, and TCP/IP protocols.
- Practical experience with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Docker), databases (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL), and cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or PHP is an advantage.
- Proven experience in managing infrastructure projects and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and work independently.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Professional certifications such as MCSE or CISSP are preferred.
- A competitive annual salary ranging from HKD 360,000 to HKD 420,000.
