Our client is a well-established organisation currently undergoing a major data and AI-driven transformation journey. As part of their continued investment in analytics capabilities, they are looking for a Data Analytics Manager to lead a team of analytics professionals in delivering actionable business insights, enterprise reporting solutions, and data-driven strategies that support key business decisions across the organisation.

Your new role

• Lead and manage a data team comprising data scientists and data analysts, providing coaching, mentorship, and career development support.
• Drive the development and execution of enterprise analytics and reporting strategies to support business growth and operational excellence.
• Partner closely with senior business stakeholders to understand key challenges, identify opportunities, and translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
• Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of management dashboards, KPI frameworks, and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Lead advanced analytics initiatives to identify trends, customer behaviours, operational improvements, and business performance opportunities.
• Ensure the delivery of timely, accurate, and meaningful business insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Establish and promote data governance, data quality, and reporting standards across analytics platforms and reporting assets.
• Drive the adoption of modern BI and analytics tools while fostering a data-driven culture across the organisation.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product Delivery, and business teams to ensure reliable data availability and effective utilisation of enterprise data assets.
• Evaluate and recommend new analytics methodologies, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance business intelligence capabilities.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders on the organisation's AI and GenAI transformation initiatives, ensuring data readiness, analytics capabilities, use case prioritisation, and value measurement frameworks are established to support successful AI adoption.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Strategy, or related disciplines.e.
• Strong experience developing executive dashboards, management reporting, KPI frameworks, and business performance analytics.
• Hands-on experience with BI and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience performing advanced data analysis using SQL, Python, R, or other analytical tools would be an advantage.
• Good understanding of modern data platform technologies such as Databricks (preferred), Snowflake, or similar enterprise data platforms, with the ability to effectively partner with Data Engineering teams.
• Experience working with major cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, although AWS or GCP experience will also be considered.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modelling, analytical data structures, and enterprise reporting environments.
• Experience managing or working closely with Data Science teams delivering predictive analytics, machine learning, AI solutions, or data-driven transformation initiatives would be highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is a must.; and is currently based in Hong Kong and holding a valid Hong Kong work permit.
