We are looking for a Group Accountant to join our team in Munich. In this role, you will be central to preparing, analyzing, and ensuring the quality of IFRS financial statements and executing group consolidation. You'll act as a key interface between Group Accounting, local finance teams, auditors, and other stakeholders, while also driving the optimization and digitalization of our accounting processes, especially within the Lucanet environment.

Activities
As our Group Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including disclosures and management reporting.
- Analyzing complex accounting topics such as revenue recognition, leasing, provisions, and intercompany transactions.
- Preparing the group cash flow statement.
- Supporting group reporting, including the technical preparation and assistance to entities in delivering monthly group reporting.
- Executing group consolidation in the Lucanet system, including accounting for purchase price allocation adjustments.
- Analyzing and commenting on consolidation effects.
- Acting as a Key User / Power User for Lucanet.
- Supporting the optimization and automation of closing and reporting processes.
- Participating in finance transformation and digitalization projects, including the promotion of AI usage in Finance.
- Supporting the onboarding of new entities or integration of new systems.
- Assisting during annual audits.
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
Requirements
Professional Qualifications:
- Successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience in Group Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS.
- Experience in group consolidation.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Fluency in English (C2) and German (C2).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Oracle, Navision, or similar).
- Experience in an international environment is an advantage.

- Experience with fast-close processes.
- Experience in PE-/VC-backed or international growth companies.
- Knowledge of process automation / BI tools.
- HGB knowledge in addition to IFRS.
