We are seeking an experienced
Senior Contracts Officer to join a high-performing Research team responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of research and commercial agreements.

In this role, you will work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful research outcomes while ensuring contracts are legally compliant and commercially appropriate with relevant requirements.




What you'll be doing:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating research, funding, collaboration and commercial agreements.


• Providing expert advice on contractual, legal, intellectual property and compliance matters.


• Identifying and managing contractual, financial and commercial risks.


• Building strong relationships with researchers, professional staff, legal advisers and external partners.


• Supporting contract implementation, compliance obligations and issue resolution throughout the contract lifecycle.


• Contributing to process improvements, contract reporting and stakeholder training.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex agreements.


• Strong knowledge of contractual risk management, compliance and intellectual property matters.


• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.


• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.


• A strong attention to detail and skill for research.
