Position overview

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager (Private Markets) to join our team based in Paris and support the growth of our private equity, real estate and infrastructure strategies, across both equity and debt offerings.

Reporting to the Head of Private Markets Marketing, this role sits at the crossroads of product, sales and communications, and plays a key part in elevating the visibility and appeal of our private markets platform. The position covers a broad range of initiatives across the full marketing mix - content, media, social media, events and overall marketing strategy - targeting diverse audiences including institutional investors, wholesale distributors and advisor/retail clients.

The successful candidate will take ownership of comprehensive marketing missions: from creating high-impact product and expertise materials and coordinating with agencies, to designing media plans, contributing to our social media and press strategies, shaping our event approach and structuring annual marketing roadmaps with clear KPIs. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across asset classes and geographies, and to significantly contribute to the development and recognition of our private markets business.

Missions :
  • The role will span across the 3 asset classes in our private markets offering: private equity, real estate, infrastructure, with equity and debt offerings across most of them
  • Initiatives will be directed at a variety of audiences: institutional, wholesale, advisor/retail
  • Missions will be very comprehensive, and will encompass:
    • Contents
      • Production of product collateral (pitch decks, flyers, video scripts, ...)
      • Production of expertise collateral (expertise decks, website copy, ...)
      • Liaising with agencies where considered additive
    • Media
      • Sponsored: developing relevant media plans for our products, expertise and key people across print and digital, across adverts / webinars / advertorials, and finetuned by audience (institutional / advisor / retail)
      • Social media: proactively contributing to EdRAM's LinkedIn strategy and contents, including developing powerful advocacy strategies for key people and grow our collective impact on this channel among clients, prospects and stakeholders
      • Organic: close cooperation with press relations team on content for elements going out to press (co-developing relevant ideas for press exposure and which experts to showcase, preparing key talking points, amplifying organic contents through own or paid initiatives where relevant)
    • Events
      • Own events: co-development of a relevant, business oriented events approach and event landscape with stakeholders such as Sales and heads of department, execution in partnership with group-internal as well as external partners as needed
      • Industry events: co-development of relevant industry events approach across areas of expertise and geographies, including speaker preparation / narrative and amplification of event impact through pre and post event comm's initiatives
    • Marketing strategy
      • Encompassing all of the above, this role will require the future hire to forge independent views on relevant marketing strategies conducive to further growing our private markets business, structure those strategies on a usually annual horizon and proactively communicate to stakeholders on key milestones for the year as well as measure and highlight main KPIs.

Profile :
  • Solid knowledge of, and interest for, financial markets in general and unlisted markets (private equity, real estate, infrastructure) in particular
  • 10-15 years of professional experience, including material experience within the asset management industry either in a marketing / communications function, an investment function or any other role which is close to products and markets
  • Ability to understand and simplify, for an institutional as well as advisor audience, financial markets and products and develop appropriate narratives
  • Desire and ability to go beyond content creation, to develop impactful marketing strategies to enhance corporate, expertise and product visibility across a comprehensive framework of formats and channels
  • Solid command of the Microsoft Office Suite: Powerpoint, Word, Excel
  • Indesign and understanding of marketing-related inputs into CRM systems is a plus
  • This role will require the following qualities:
    • Business focus: directing and calibrating marketing efforts to effectively support business priorities
    • Self-starter mindset: proactively coming up with new ideas, concepts and projects and knowing how to bring them to execution
    • Stakeholder management: ability to connect with relevant stakeholders and coordinate with sound judgment the inputs of various areas of expertise
  • Languages: French: (close to) native ; English : fluent, both written and spoken.
