Responsibilities
Your Role:
- You will manage and supervise a portfolio of companies, most of which are provided with directorship services, solicit new business for the company and supervise a team of three to six people.
- Have overall supervision of entire portfolio of companies
- Receive, handle and distribute clients' requests to staff within the account, and monitor progress thereof
- Ensure that the full account meets time writing targets; provide guidance and training on proper procedures related to time writing to staff
- Advise staff on correct procedures for carrying out requests from clients[MJ1] .
- Have knowledge of procedures relevant to incorporations, amendment to the Memorandum and
Articles of Association, transfer of companies to and from other Registered Agents, liquidations, mergers, continuations and all other aspects of BVI Business Companies, and training staff on these procedures - Review draft billing and monitor unpaid invoices
- Attend Account Managers' meetings and lead team meetings with staff under supervision
- Monitor and pursue collection of KYC information and accounts receivables together with dedicated KYC teams
- Monitor staff attendance and time recording on a daily/weekly basis
- Ensure accounts in the portfolio meet Citco's risk policy requirements in regard to all business
- Schedule staff vacation to ensure that team is sufficiently staffed at all times
- Perform annual staff appraisals
- Identify training needs of staff and submit to Managing Director
- Manage different projects that may be assigned by Managing Director, meeting expected deadlines
Qualifications
About You:
- You are a Chartered Secretary or hold a degree in Law, Business or similar qualification.
- At least three years' experience in the financial service industry
- Computer literate; knowledge of Microsoft Word mandatory
- Knowledge of services provided the other Citco offices
- Working knowledge of IBI/BVIBC Acts and Citco's KYC, Risk, and all Group policies
- Knowledge of Citco operational procedures, policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Capable of interpreting basic financial data
- Professional attitude and commercial affinity
- Fluent English and Spanish language skills, both spoken and written
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle heavy workload
