The Fisher Investments Australasia Pty Ltd (the 'Company') is looking for an Information Security Engineer to bring their talent and experience to our team. The successful candidate will guide future global growth through strategic solutions and new ideas, support our growing firm's diverse departments by managing and identifying risks to our organization, and collaborating with Technology and Governance teams at an Enterprise level.

The Opportunity:

The Fisher Investments Australasia Pty Ltd (the 'Company') Information Security Engineer is responsible for the operations of secure architectural implementations. This involves deploying systems for integration efforts, network workstation configurations, server and operating system upgrades, problem diagnosis, disaster recovery planning, fault tolerance planning, Local and Wide Area Network design, Hardware and Software Enhancements, standards/procedures creation and R&D. You will report to the Information Security Team Lead.

The Day-to-Day:

• Management over end-user controls and defensive measures
• Implement security architectures (systems) and standards
• Independently design, develop and implement processes to support departmental goals
• Perform upgrades of existing network and security infrastructures
• Work with senior IT staff and other team members to ensure proper system integration and adherence to policy and standards
• Implement defined enterprise system strategies to support corporate programs
• Continuously learn new technologies and concepts in the industry.
• Research and recommend new security technologies to be considered for use at Fisher
• Provide technical experience in automating processes related to security implementations and monitoring enforcement

Your Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT with a broad range of exposure to all aspects of business planning, systems analysis, and application development
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with information security
• Technical certifications
• Experience in a large-scale production environment
• Experience maintaining enterprise-level monitoring and control systems
• Experience managing intrusion detection systems and incident response workflow
• University degree or equivalent combination of education/experience required
