DWS is seeking a Senior/Lead Test Engineer and a Test Engineer to support a major data transformation initiative. These roles will focus on delivering high-quality data validation across modern data platforms, leveraging Microsoft Fabric and associated technologies. Ideal candidates will bring strong expertise in data testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated data testing frameworks for pipelines, including Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, and PySpark/Spark notebooks
• Validate Power BI semantic models, including DAX calculations and Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Enforce and monitor data quality standards such as completeness, accuracy, and uniqueness
• Trace and validate data lineage across OneLake and Lakehouse/Warehouse environments
• Integrate testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Perform performance testing, identifying bottlenecks and optimising workloads

Requirements:

• Strong experience across the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem and Power BI Service preferred (Candidates with hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience will be strongly preferred; however, professionals with strong data migration testing experience will also be considered, particularly those who have worked across large-scale data platform transformations and can transfer their skills into a Fabric environment)
• Expertise in SQL, PySpark, DAX, and KQL
• Proven experience in data testing, including automated test frameworks
• Ability to work across complex data environments and deliver high-quality outcomes
