An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Business Services Manager to join a highly regarded Top 50 mid-tier accounting firm at their Parramatta office

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated accounting professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive, collaborative and genuinely people-focused firm.

The Opportunity
You'll work closely with a portfolio of interesting and diverse clients, providing high-level accounting, tax and advisory services while working alongside experienced Partners and a supportive team.

The client base includes HNWI, SME and privately owned businesses , as well as larger groups with significant investment portfolios. You'll gain exposure to clients across a range of industries, with some businesses turning over $10-15m+ and investment groups with portfolios of around $50m.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of business services clients from start to finish
• Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns
• Provide taxation and business advisory services to clients
• Review work prepared by accountants and provide technical guidance
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
• Work closely with Partners on more complex client matters
• Assist with mentoring and developing junior team members
• Identify opportunities to add value across your client portfolio

About You

• CA/CPA qualified
• Strong Business Services / Tax accounting background
• Previous experience supervising or managing staff
• Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Someone who enjoys being involved with clients and taking ownership of their work
• A team player who wants to be part of a collaborative environment
